About Johannesens
Johannesens Klädeshandel is an institution in Swedish men's fashion (and now also women's) with an ancient physical store and a fast-growing e-commerce. They sell hand-picked quality garments from the market's most sought-after brands. The focus is on personalised service, quality and a long-term approach rather than fast trends and "wear-and-tear".
The Challenge
Running an e-commerce business as a retailer of premium brands presents a unique challenge: the competition often comes from the suppliers themselves (the brands) who have huge advertising budgets.
Johannesens needed a strategy to compete and manage an inventory that changes daily. In addition, they chose a brave path: to forgo Black Week and sales rushes to protect the brand. The challenge was thus to drastically increase volume at full price, in an industry where "discount" is often the only selling point. They also needed help structuring their tracking to trust the data.
The Solution
We built a flexible and dynamic strategy that allowed us to move faster than the giants.

Dynamic Product Flows: Since stock status changes quickly, we built an ad structure directly linked to the product flow. This ensured we never advertised sold-out sizes and could quickly highlight new items.

Segmented Creativity on Meta: We worked intensively to test different imagery and messaging for the women's and men's segments. By combining inspirational content with dynamic retargeting, we were able to remind customers of the exact garments they showed interest in.

Data-driven Google Ads: We optimised the account to capture purchase intent on specific brands and models, allowing us to compete smarter in search results.

Agile Approach: Working very closely together, we were able to respond directly to weather changes and trends, which is crucial in the fashion industry.

The Impact
The results show that you don't have to sell out your range to grow. By meeting the right person with the right product at the right time, we created explosive growth.
Total sales by 321% and orders by 333%. Looking specifically at the channels, the impact was huge: Meta Ads increased revenue by over 100% and Google Ads followed closely behind with almost a 100% increase.
Despite the sharp increase in volume, we maintained and increased profitability. ROAS is today far above the customer's set goals, which proves that quality pays off.
